I'm off to my art class

here is what I am working on

So when the boyfriend and I 

were in NYC

I tasted a bunch of different frozen yogurts

I sampled pink berry

and a very memorable goats milk frozen yogurt

and now Charleston has it's very own

~hip little yogurt place~

Jordan had never been

*and since her sweet tooth is legendary* 

we ventured downtown

~Week Seven~

I think since February is the shortest month

it is also the busiest 

something about fitting everything in 

always eludes me

-but-

I'm still sticking to my new years resolution

to make time to be creative every day

*making the bed has suffered a bit*

~I'm gonna head upstairs and do that now~

Green Thumb

My Grandpa was a gardener

he maintained a full on serious garden

corn, okra, tomatoes

*he would grow it all*

me on the other hand.....

I've never started plants from seeds

~totally lazy gardener~

buying my plants

and then transplanting them into their pots

and feeling quite accomplished 

when I'm done

Well no more lazy gardening!

I'm breaking out my genetic green thumb

*plus*

~I love a good project~

seed trays are an easy start

Just add water

-and they triple in size- 

ready for some seeds

*here are my little starter plants*

with plenty indirect sunlight

and in just a few days

Surprise!

my little seedlings are poking out already

**I am super excited**

Valentines Day spa getaway

*The Boyfriend totally surprised me *

~this year on Valentines Day~

 a delivery of 

 a lovely bouquet of flowers

~met me at work~

~and a tasty box of chocolates~

On monday he whisked me away 

for a spa day

Lulu loves the fireplace

I love the fireplace too

~but not as much as Lu~

she can't get enough of that lovely heat

she is not a cold weather pup

The Charleston area had its first snowfall

in nearly a decade this last week

*things got pretty crazy around here*

I was at work 

when lovely fluffy snowflakes 

blanketed the area

and to my surprise 

it stuck!
