there is something so southern in the romanticism that the south sometimes receives
*when i can ignore the accents*
discovered the boyfriend loves running jokes
and saw the south like i see it with my own eyes
be it 1918 or 2009 the south looks remarkably the same
the swamps and grand houses that i pass everyday
the fog the mist and the sun rising  over the water
i like to drive on roads that are canopied in Spanish moss
over thin two lane roads that are surrounded by water and old bare trees
pluff mudd and salt water are in my veins

Carolina Girls

The Boyfriend and I are lucky enough to live in a very amazing place
(we loved our travels, but nothing helps you appreciate your home more than being away)
Our  town is a tourist destination of its own
We have History, Food, Beaches and U-Pick strawberries

fellow carolina girl Jordan at Boones Hall U-Pick
(if you've never picked your own strawberries i highly recommend it)

Happy Mothers Day

Don't you wish that your mom looked as cool as mine-

Everyone have a Happy Mothers Day!

It was fun watching everyone buying flowers for Mom today at the farmers market - bouquet after bouquet everywhere I went.

My mom would sure love this big city, I mean I watched a rollerskate-hula-hoop party in Central Park, complete with a DJ. (she would be so into that)
